Our Story

This is our founder Tom with our mascot Roma! Tom started off his career in the restaurant business working for Wolfgang Puck's flagship restaurant Spago in Beverly Hills. After working as the Sommelier there for many years, he transitioned over to the wine business. For years he traveled all over experiencing the best food, wine, and coffee of the world. Due to the Pandemic in January of 2021, Tom was let go from his job like many, and decided soon after to turn his passion for coffee into a career. Over the following months he took an old shuttle bus and by himself, with some help from Youtube, built a state of the art coffee truck, and by the end of 2021, Doppio Express was ready to roll.

We are now entering our 4th year of business and are so excited about the feedback and passion that we get daily. Tom's sons Marcello and Lorenzo have become involved with the business as it has grown, and we look forward to more growth and expanding what started out as a dream during a challenging time.

Tom's slogan "Taste the Difference" comes from the passion and quest for excellence that he puts into everything he makes!
